  - Afterparty -
www.myspace.com/afterpartyretro

AfterpartY was created by 20-year-old vocalist Kristina B and keyboardist Idan Erez at 3am in a downtown loft in Toronto, sometime in 2004. Both of them hated turning on the radio and hearing the same thing over and over again. Somewhere along the line, they realized, pop music became less about melody and songcraft and more about production.
So the two set out to form a band dedicated to bringing something new and unforgettable to the music scene.  AfterpartY is Kristina, Idan, Juan Carlos Rivas on guitar and Keith Heppler on drums.  Look for the foursome’s debut album in Spring 2010.

"Rheaume's latest release puts her on the same trajectory as Sheryl Crow and Aimee Mann with Shades of Pink" - GoHearLive.com

In the last year, Rheaume has traveled to Kandahar Afghanistan and Alert Nunavut to perform for the troops; performed at the Canadian Embassy in Costa Rica on Canada Day; ventured to the Faroe Islands to perform at the Scandinavian G! Festival; crossed the country with Touring Benefit Concert – Babes for Breasts and independently released her latest EP “Kiss Me Back”.

An engaging artist and performer, Amanda is known for her flair with infectious pop hooks and subtle introspective soul.

- Broken Sons -
www.myspace.com/brokensons

Broken Sons began in the summer of 2006, when 20-year old drummer Jay Manara decided to leave his band, Vault, to pursue his interest in becoming a front man and singing his own songs.  He soon met bassist Devon Gergovich, and the duo quickly
began working on material that would later become the foundation of Broken Sons. They flooded the local classifieds with guitar and drummer ‘wanted’ ads. The ads caught the attention of duo Dan Hebert and Brad Fisher, and after three months of practicing,
they played their first show together.

With hypnotic riffs and a defining vocal this band is elevating from the smoke stack suburbs with an unorthodox new rock style. Nothing can hold them down!

- Moondog Uproar -

www.myspace.com/moondoguproar

Most sky phenomenon are hard to find and do not occur regularly. This is the case with Moondog Uproar. The Uproar consists of Michael Lavereau (vocals, piano and guitars) Aaron Ambrose (bass) and Matt Varey (drums). This trio of musicians banded together in the summer of 2008 in London Ontario. With a strong determination to make music they love, the three began rehearsing daily until they arrived at the twelve songs that comprise their first full length album “Sunrise”. The band continues to build a strong following and with each show receives an increasingly positive response. With performances in Toronto, Hamilton, Grand bend, and their hometown London to name a few, the band is looking to expand beyond provincial boarders and take their music to national and international audiences. Artists such as The Beatles, C.C.R. Bob Dylan and Billy Joel have been a great influence to the band. These classical roots of Rock have been further honed and modelled by nineties rockers Oasis and Weezer and most recently Kasabian, Jack White, Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay. Canadian influences include The Guess Who, Neil Young, Sloan and The Tragically Hip. Moondog Uproar have much left to sing about and are committed to making a strong musical contribution, following in the footsteps of those who have paved the way and made Canadian Rock distinctive and world renowned.

- NLX -

www.myspace.com/nlxmusic

NLX Wants You to BITCH GET FIT!  BITCH GET FIT is the much anticipated, first full-length offering from NLX, but to call it a debut would be somewhat misleading. It’s taken two years of preparation, collaboration and one tiny lawsuit to make this masterpiece. Recorded in both NYC and Toronto, NLX joined forces again with acclaimed producer/composer Byron Kent Wong to create an extraordinarily distinct, vibrant and compelling album. In a time of one hit wonders and copycat artists, NLX stands alone.

Raised in the icy shadows of Canada’s steel city smoke stacks, NLX hails from the proud tradition of BS-free northern songwriting women. She continues to carry the electronically edged dark pop torch with BITCH GET FIT ... 16 tracks of blow your mind and open your heart lyrical and musical smack. It is fists in the air, tears on the floor, don’t look back but close the door kind of music.  But performing live is where the full spectrum of NLX’s vivid colors are at their sharpest. She may be new to you, but her keyboard/laptop toting wheels have spun hundreds of thousands of highway miles to countless gigs, big and small, always honing the craft, faithfully recreating her original works night after night, and always with the passion of a first time performance.  From 3,000+ soft-seaters while opening for Matthew Good and David Usher, to Lower East Side rock clubs to intimate cafes in Greenwich Village, NLX invites you into her heart and makes her way into yours with delightful blunt humor lifted from the same divine source as her music.
You laugh, you cry. Experience NLX don’t be afraid, you might just find love.

Following two years of extensive touring throughout North America, Montreal rockers ONE – Danny Rossi (Vocals), Chris Staniforth (Guitar), Rudy Occhionero (Drums) - return with their sophomore album, Dirty Valentine.

Evolving while on tour and discovering and exploring new musical avenues, Dirty Valentine is the follow-up to ONE's 2007 debut release Never Say Never. Soliciting the producing talents of Kevin Jardine (Slaves on Dope / Monarchy); ONE delivers a refreshing album that echoes their travels, determination and challenges over the years. From hard-hitting guitar riffs on the title track through to the closing acoustic ballad,  I Know, the album delivers a wide array of styles and offers up something for everyone – even the hardest to please rock fans will be satisfied.

- Outspoken -

www.myspace.com/outspokenrock

Outspoken: A niche market for those who want and need to be heard. A stance above the crowd--the driving force and philosophy that four musicians have cultivated into an art form that expands the medium of music into something relative, real, and true.  Indie, authentic, edgy, pop, disciplined… are some words used describe the sound and focus of the band Outspoken. The year of 2003, brought together Anthony Mascarin: lead vocals/rhythm guitar, brother, Alex Mascarin: drums, and friends Justin Bonfini: lead guitar/backup vocals, and Jason Sutton: bass, in hopes of creating their dream of playing in a band.
Not just making music a past time, but making it a career.

Outspoken has released two albums: Born a boy, raised a punk (2003), under indie label, Mushroom Productions, and their last C.D. Hear We Go (2007), under their own company, Outspoken Entertainment. Hear We Go, made its way onto shelves and digital stores across the country (HMV included). This feat made things very real for Outspoken—money was coming in, tours were happening, merchandise was selling--a medium was being marketed and sold.  Since then, Outspoken has had the opportunity to be flown out to Los Angeles for an interview on Sirius Satellite Radio, via the Jason Ellis Show (Faction Ch. 28). The Jason Ellis show has included the single “ I don’t know” and a few other songs in their rotation. The Jason Ellis show has over one million listeners daily. Outspoken utilized their time wisely and took advantage of the location and great marketing opportunity--playing a show in central Hollywood to promote their new music video and to further market their brand,
Outspoken has gained more recognition as an independent band amongst thousands.

- Tara Holloway -

www.taraholloway.com

"SINS TO CONFESS" is the latest release from Tara Holloway.  Several years in the making, it has been a collaborative effort between Holloway, producer Dave Way and a plethora of musicians and artists from California and Tennessee to Ontario, Canada.   BUT BE WARNED: THESE SONGS ARE REAL.  They are mostly based on her own experiences as a singer and songwriter, of moving from town to town, and coast to coast.  And the themes of love, betrayal, sexuality and loneliness, on a road quite often traveled, are laid out with a voice as varied as the stories she tells.  Often heard on the hit American tv series "Sons of Anarchy," on Canadian radio (Virgin Radio Vancouver, CKCU and LiVE 88.5), performing at the Hotel Cafe and the Mint (LA), Zaphod Beeblebrox (Ottawa) and Cisco Ottawa's Bluesfest.  "Sins to Confess" is due out April 2010!
